Big Script is a group for writers. It's been going for over ten years, in one form or another. Former Big Scripters include Craig Stephens, Charlotte Goodwin and Marie-Paule Graham. Current members include Liz John, Gerald Kells and myself. Most of us are based in the West Midlands, in or around Birmingham.
We generally meet twice a month, to discuss whatever material people have brought to the meeting. This is often a script of some kind, but can be any type of writing. We try and give postive feedback and encourage each other to finish things. Sometimes the work of one of us gets picked up for stage, film, radio or TV. Once or twice a year we also put on a show of our own material. Here are some recent examples:
